Bacolaodiat was coined from the word Bacolod and Lao Diat which is a Fookien term for ‘Celebration’. Well, the Year of the Rabbit 2011 Bacolaodiat theme is “Hopping Towards Prosperity”.

Then a welcome speech was made and a cultural show which features Chinese songs and dances at the Chopsticks Alley. And at around 9:00PM there was a firework display called the Symphony of Lights & Sparks. And after, it was party, party, party till the wee hour of the morning. But happy to say I didn’t drink any beers :) Just had a coffee overload.
